Instrumental 2by ~Chromakode

Customization / Wallpaper / HDTV & Widescreen

Inspired by Neon Genesis Evangellion, Homeworld 2, and that special feeling of sci-fi and technical bliss.
Been a while since I've made a widescreen, this one's been in the works for a while. Trying 1920x1200, and some new style elements. Hope you like it!

This is the second version, less tripped out than the first, I hope!

Are you the model for this one? Methinks so. Love it. Setting as backround. Setting as favorite. Evangelion feel nailed. I really like how there's a vectored pic, and then a standard one of the building. Muchly cool. ^_^

I'm going to be working to put more photos into my vector work - that was part of my motivation for getting into photography.

How would it "get old fast"?

I like the look of the red and gold, especially with the shadowed background objects... Or am I imagining seeing those buildings?

Hehehe... the buildings are real

You're looking at a shot (taken by me) of the Vancouver skyline.
I guess what I meant by "it would get old fast" was the fact that our fantasies aren't always the place we'd most like to be. Wouldn't it be kind of boring with spaceships and giant robots and super fast computers and all? - I mean, what would there be left to invent/discover? Sure- tons, but... not nearly as much mystery

Awww... There will always be more to invent, discover, and get all crossy-eyes over from confusion. The mystery in life will not stop until are species is extinct. Or is morphed by genetic tinkering into something completely different, but even then there would be mysteries to worry away at.
