Perhaps your cats are afraid of the flash (if you are using it)? I'm probably more concerned for the camera than the cats are about it - they love to paw at the lens when I'm taking pictures.
I'm trying to raise these guys up to be awesome models... you know, the earlier, the better. At least that's the evil plan.
Oooh, good idea! See, that's why I need kittens. My cats are just kinda.. weird. Lol, in a good way, but not camera-friendly way.
