First off, I want to apologize to friends and those that I watch for my lack of involvement and comments. For me, the community of deviantART is at least as important (if not more than) the creation of art itself. I tend to think of community involvement as a bank account, and right now I feel I'm running on savings. You don't have to respond to this, just know that I am and continue to be thinking of you.
Secondly, I wanted to share a project I have been working at on and off for a few months now. I haven't posted anything in a while, and frankly, I'm really really excited about this. It's one of the two longish art projects that have been taking most of my free time for a while now. I've mentioned before that I'm working on a "light painting" widescreen wallpaper pack. I've been waiting on this project to collect instead of releasing them individually because I really want to hone the technique.
So last night I had a chance to ride along with a reasonable bit of nighttime city driving, and decided to try something different: city light painting. This is by no means a new technique, or a new application, but wow. I'm psyched. Here's a quick taste from last night's pictures.
That's all for now! Good night.
